The skeletal figure evokes both mortality and myth, a reminder of how a smaller nation, hardened by winter, terrain, and resolve, resisted foreign opressor. The icy blues and burning yellows are deliberately drawn from the colors of Ukraine, binding past and present into a single visual statement of resistance, sovereignty, and survival.
